The 32 Percent Project

As 2017-18 Faculty Innovation Fellows at the Agora Journalism Center, my SOJC colleague Lisa Heyamoto and I launched The 32 Percent Project. The project explores what drives and disrupts trust in the news media. So far, we’ve hosted community conversations in four communities around the country — Pico Rivera, Calif., Boston, Mass., Vienna, Ill. and Oxford, Miss. — and we’ll be presenting our findings at the 2017 Online News Association conference in Washington, D.C.
